Will it work with my bathtub?
Almost certainly. Polar Home works with any standard bathtub that holds 200 to 500 litres, acrylic, ceramic, stone or wood. The tether arm simply rests over the rim and needs to reach at least 5cm below the water surface.
Does it heat as well as cool?
Yes. Polar Home covers 3 to 42 degrees C. A proper ice bath in the morning, a 42 degree onsen soak at night, from the same machine.
How long does it take to get cold?
A typical 300L bathtub goes from room temperature to 5 degrees C in under 5 hours. Schedule it through the WiFi app so the water is ready the moment you are.
Do I need a plumber or any renovation?
No. Nothing is installed permanently. The tether arm rests over the rim of your tub and the chiller plugs into a normal wall socket. Setup takes minutes, and you can move it away just as fast.
How does the water stay clean?
Polar Home runs your tub water through a multi-stage filter and disinfects it automatically with built-in ozone sterilisation. For personal use, change the water every 2 weeks and avoid chemicals like chlorine.
Can I control it from my phone?
Yes. Polar Home connects over WiFi to the companion app on iOS and Android. Set temperatures, schedule on/off times, and monitor water flow from anywhere.
Is it safe to use in a bathroom?
Polar Home has RCD leakage protection built in and must be plugged into a grounded socket. Keep the chiller in a ventilated spot outside the splash zone, and always power it off before you get in the water.
What does the warranty cover?
1 year, 1 to 1 exchange or free repair for defects. Post warranty support at minimal cost.
